Zakas

Steve Zakas received his first drum set at age 15 and since then has played with bands such as Shield, Dead Serious, Death Dream, Battle Steel, Vicinity, and Slam Jemima.
After being a drummer for 10 years, Zakas became the frontman for the Hard Core band "The Battered Midgets." Now, after redirecting his drumming ability to tribal hand percussion and programming, Zakas has released his first solo album, "Shunk Daddy Grind." Covering a wide variety of styles and unique song structures, Zakas retains his reputation as a true original.
