Zeno--Listen to the Light (1998/MTM) Rating--7.8

An expansive undertaking, as Zeno Roth--younger brother of former Scorpions guitarist Uli Jon Roth--plays all the instruments on this album. Good hard rock/metal, in a similar style to Elegy's 'Supremacy' days, and some of the early song structures of Yngwie's work--without the overbearing flash. Good, rich and soaring vocals, provided by Mark Flechsig.
"Goddess of Sunrise" is a good opener, and the strong and soaring "Love in Your Eyes" follows suit. Both "Eden on Fire" and "Follow the Wind" are nice cuts, and there are several late-80s bonus tracks, including "World of Tomorrow" and "Time".
An enjoyable listen, and a showcase of Roth's talent.
