Bunechu Shenobi--RealAudio
Mixing metal with an almost new-age, aura-istic feel, this disc gives fresh interpretations of previously formatted and stiff musical
setups. Very expansive, and sometimes on the "just plain weird" side a la Frank Zappa--but always in the creative sense. Sounds like how a
soundtrack to a metalized Ralph Bakshi movie might...
Different vocalists and respective styles keep the songs from falling into any sort
of set pattern, and while the music cannot be classified directly into metal, there are enough distortion toolings to satisfy the amp-driven.
Still, definitely more suitable for those who like to push new musical horizons.
"Bunechu Shenobi" creeps along with trade-off female and deep male vocals, and is good throughout. "Tremble Tremor" shows
off some crunching little riffs, and the Jim Rome-themed "Smak Rules" has an industrial heaviness to it.
A collection-adder for those who want to expand their music set in every way possible. Hope to have sound clips coming soon...
