Y&T--Down For the Count (1985)
Rating--7.0

Much more energetic than the previous release. Coming across like a lighter Ratt or Dokken offering, this is a very pleasant disc to throw on every now and then for some melodic sounds.
The heavy thump of "In the Name of Rock" starts things off in romping fashion, and the distortion/keyboard mix of "Anytime At All" follows shortly thereafter. The upbeat "Anything for Money" and the smooth "Face Like An Angel" are both solid--if unspectacular--listens.
Possibly the band's most "commercial" song from the mid-'80s, "Summertime Girls," appears here as well. Nice top-down, heading-to-the-beach track--and album in general.
