All the Fallen Men--RealAudio
This somewhat rare debut gives us glimpses at guitarist Vito Bratta's inventiveness, and the band's overall lighthearted (though still early-Dokken-sharp) approach to metal. Mainly bar chords are used here, though they will dissapear in the near future as Bratta will takes leaps and bounds forward. The writing is definitely to be commended considering it's the band's first release. That aside, it's also better than most of the '80s catch metal of the day.
Future-remake (see 'Mane Attraction') "Broken Heart" is both heavy and melodic, and is followed with the excellent flow of "Cherokee" and the driving chorus of the title track.
Riffs abound throughout "All Burn in Hell," "Kid of 1000 Faces," and "El Salvador," and "All the Fallen Men" stands out with a deep pulse and an emotion and energy- packed chorus.
A must for all Bratta/White Lion fans; a nice find for '80s fans in general.
