Wreck Creation--Wreck Creation (1995)

The guitar and distortion of this indie band sound of Machine Head and rough Pantera, and the nasty-ass mid-song grooves of Trouble and My Sister's Machine. The vox are gravelly but still distinguisable--perhaps a bit like Anselmo's roughest.
Pace changes dot "Dose of Abuse," with a wicked mid-chunk. "Deva" and "Silent Weapon, Quiet War" both chug and crunch along, and "Step Off" has a stellar buildup to its chorus.
A solid thrashcore find; hopefully these guys will produce more tunes in the near future, as there is talent and a knack for thrashwriting.
