Can't Die Tonight--RealAudio
Lots and lots of energy, as almost every song is wide-open. Very close in style to 'Electric Circus,' and thematically it
matches the band's rowdy, early-career staples. Blackie's yelling, no-holds-barred standards are back---but can you blame him?
This is what first got the band noticed---and although 'The Crimson Idol' remains the band's best and most mature work, it never
received hardly any of the success or recognition it deserved. That will always be the high mark to judge the band
by... but ya gotta do what works.
"Damnation Angels" is weighty and winding, and packs plenty of punch despite its
slower pace. "High on the Flames" has a great flow, and other energetic tracks include "Don't Cry (Just Suck)," "Can't Die
Tonight," and the title track.
The sleeze is back in full swing, so if you're an old-school Blackie fan, scoop it up...
