Undertow--RealAudio Family Picnic--RealAudio

Dirtier distortion, and layered vocals--almost in the King's X or heavy Saigon Kick vein. Less distortion, but more muddled. Some solid opening tracks, and comparable in sound to the band's previous offering, but non consistent through to the end.
A grungy muted chug steamrolls through "Undertow," and other crunchers include "Followed" and "Crawl Space"--lots of groove.
"Family Picnic" and "Live Inside of You" stand out with raunch and riff, and "Stronger Now" is simply an awesome acoustic--Good picking, and Extreme-like clarity.
Not as good as 'Dog Eat Dog', but the high points are still better than most of their offerings back in the late '80s.
