W.A.S.P.--Inside the Electric Circus (1986)
Rating--7.7

9.5.-N.A.S.T.Y.--RealAudio
The band starts to show some true maturity here, at least from the standpoint of musical muscle and solidity. A much thicker sound than before, as the strong bar chords move the band's direction towards areas occupied by simpler Priest, Accept, and Saxon.
The title track starts things off nicely, and other highlights include "9.5.-N.A.S.T.Y.," "Restless Gypsy," the solid and chunky "Mantronic," and the awesome beat and rhythm of "King of Sodom and Gomorrah".
Two good covers---"Easy Living" and "I Don't Need No Doctor". The latter features some great chord riffage, and nice chugs in the verses.
Still nothing overly spectacular or ground-breaking from the group, but definitely a catalogue improvement.
