This release features eight re-recorded tracks from the band's early catalog, and eight new songs/interludes. It is the result of not being able to reissue those first couple of albums - for a variety of reasons (one of which being a supposed feud between Defeis and Jack Starr).
Both "Hellfire Woman" and "The Chosen Ones" are good crunchers, with other strong spots being "Don't Say Goodbye (Tonight)", "Rain of Fire," "Children of the Storm," "The Succubus," "I Am the One," and "Hot and Wild".
A nice acoustic version of "A Cry in the Night" closes the effort out.
