The band continues to produce intricate, flowing progressive metal, with lots of good compositions and distortion. The Dream Theater references still apply--in the very biting and metal sense. Some of the tracks here have a bit of a "meandering" feel to them, but it isn't a huge distraction. Fans of that particular "liquid" aspect of some prog metal will enjoy this release greatly.
The steady "Cold Wind" is a top highlight, while other good cuts include "End of All Days," "Free the Fire," "Night Walker," and the title track. An added bonus track is the Kansas cover "Point of Know Return".
