Vomitory--Revelation Nausea (2000/Metal Blade)
Rating--7.5
Under Clouds of Blood--RealAudio
Death Metal drawing heavily from acts such as Cannibal Corpse, as there are deep-gurgling vocals, fast drums, and overall energetic shock-value cuts.
Vomitory uses good guitar rhythms--and mixes those rhythms up enough--to keep things interesting.
A mid-track tempo shift highlights "Beneath the Soil," and
"Under Clouds of Blood" receives high marks as well.
Other good tracks include "When Silence Conquers," "Chapter of Pain," "The Holocaust," and the
breakneck-paced title song.
