Good Enough--RealAudio Get Up--RealAudio

The first post-Roth effort, as raspy-throated wailer Sammy Hagar steps in. A lot of the flamboyance takes a backseat after the changing of the guard, but for the most part the rock is still there---though the keyboard work starts to show up more and more.
"Helllooooo bayyybeee!" With that Hagar belt, "Good Enough" commences to drive forward in full force. "Rack a WHAT?!?"
The guitar-driven "Get Up" provides similar joys, and both are vastly overlooked pieces in the VH catalog.
Both "Best of Both Worlds" and "5150" are steady rockers with good flows, and "Dreams" and "Love Walks In," while slower, are still strong. Great video for "Dreams," by the way---gotta love the Blue Angels.
Definitely a bit different from the past, but likable and solid just the same.
