Steve Vai--Flex-Able (1984)
Rating--3.0
Damn weird.
Very little cohesiveness to the "songs" on this release, as the influence from having worked with Frank
Zappa obviously comes through on Vai's first solo effort. Strange sounds, little alien voices, and very little all-out shredding that
one might associate with Vai's guitar-god persona.
There is nice distortion in the funky "Attitude Song," but if you buy this
one expecting flash and burn, you will be dissapointed.
