Vader has been a longtime player on the Death Metal scene, and deliver once again with a solid piece of work. The standard fast drums and high guitar leads are present, but there's also more use of notes and riffs than your standard DM artist. There are lots of short anger-packed tracks, ala early Slayer. As a nice little bonus, the band includes written intros/explanations to each song (which are included in the booklet).
The nasty stop-and-go chugging of "Xeper" is an early hitter, and thick chords pulse through "Cold Demons".
"North" and the title cut are both fast tracks, and "The Final Massacre" has some sharp cuts, to go along with a good mid-song shift.
