Guardian Bloodline-mp3

This American power metal band blends parts of Steel Attack, Hammerfall, Running Wild, and maybe some classic Blind Guardian (with flecks of Maiden). There is a good distortion sound and updated production, so it's pleasant to the ears (if you like those styles of metal, of course). The vocals have a definite edge to them, being Running Wild-ish, though smoother and more melodic. There are lots of good, swift, "metal" tracks in the fold... but not a lot of great tracks. Nothing that will completely, utterly blow you away, yet a very strong buy for fans of the aforementioned bands/styles.
The best songs include "Transfixed," "Guardian Bloodline," and the speedy "Reflecting Pool," with "Infinitum" being chunky and both "At Night" and "To Be a Champion" also making the grade.

TRACK LIST: At Night/Some Other Time, Some Other Place/Axes & Honour/To Be a Champion/Infinitum/Fight to be Free/Transfixed/By My Hand/Guardian Bloodline/The Reflecting Pool/The Witch's Eyes
