It all comes together for the group on this one. The songs are both fast and catchy/groovy, which were elements that had sometimes missed each other on past releases. Almost every song is a highlight, as Testament does an excellent job of building up its songs, complimenting power riffs with driving drum beats, and giving Billy, Skolnick, and Peterson plenty of room to strut and roam.
Both "Let Go of My World" and "As the Seasons Grey" have fabulous grooves. The title song has a slow, emotional buildup, and "Return to Serenity" is a slower showcase of Billy's vocal talents. "Electric Crown" is yet another highlight.
