Practice What You Preach--RealAudio
Great technical thrash, and that is what the band specializes in at this point in its career: the treble-driven, "Bay Area" sound. Many tracks are well above par, but the lack of a consistent bottom-heavy thud may keep some of them from really exploding. That won't be a problem in the future... and you can't argue with the band's consistency right now. To their credit, the weightier moments are becoming more common-place when compared to the earlier releases.
A strong rhythm mixes well with the riffs of the title track, and etched notes move "Envy Life" as well. Other standouts include "Perilous Nation," "Blessed in Contempt," and "Sins of Omission".
