Timescape--Two Worlds

Timescape--Two Worlds (1997) Rating--6.0

A progressive band that dabbles in the realm of Dream Theater or a lighter Fates Warning; in fact, the vocalist strongly resembles LaBrie in places. However, the full vocal range and clarity is not quite as strong--but that's a relatively small drawback.
"Silent Room of Time" starts out with a strong intro, and has a distorted Queensryche/DT mix throughout. "My Lonely Stare" has good riffs and a nice drive, and the chunky title cut is made solid with some well-placed time changes.
With the progressive genre coming on stronger now than ever, Timescape have layed down an adequate foundation on which to build for their musical future.
