'Scuse Me--RealAudio Come Touch the Sky--RealAudio

Oh, my.... Trouble is back for more, and pick up right where they left off. Expanding their horizons a bit more on this release (though the sound is still their own), the band is able to combine some of their early-career speed with the new-found mega-riffs and bass-backed churns. However, more touches of the psychodelic can be seen in places as well, though they don't detract from the metal too much. Not to be trifled with--this is pure energy and bonecrushing power.
"'Scuse Me" is a bruising, moshing metalfest with pure attitude. A little technical intro, and when those guitars kick in... Whoah!! Wonder why your neck is moving that way?? It's unavoidable, bucky!!
Others include the rolling "Come Touch the Sky", "The Sleeper", the slow mesmerizing pulse of "Fear", "Memory's Garden", "Hello Strawberry Skies", and the bluesy-doom feel of the title track.
An interesting sidenote: seven of the songs begin with a little scrape of the pick across the guitar strings. Guess an inside joke on the band's part...
HOT CHOPS: "'Scuse Me" has already been covered.... but what about the riff/rhythm in "The Sleeper"? Look out...
Listening to "Strawberry Skies", one has to wonder just where the band keeps finding these riffs. But it's not over yet--some of the best are on their next release...
TRACK LIST: Come Touch the Sky/'Scuse Me/The Sleeper/Fear/Rain/Tragedy Man/Memory's Garden/Manic Frustration/ Hello Stawberry Skies/Mr. White/Breathe...
