Spectrophobic Dementia--RealAudio
A Christian thrash band, with occasional shades of early Anthrax and Megadeth. Where this groups comes up short, however, is in the overall flow of its songs. Many are too disjointed, as they will start thrashy and then slow down, or vice versa. Technical, talented muscianship in places, with robotic voice-overs intermixed. Checking the song titles, the band should maybe put down the thesaurus and concentrate more on playing.
Some cutting, slow-paced notes highlight "Phantom Limb," while the groove-prancing "Spectrophobic Dementia" is good.
The Megadeth-like "Exoskeletons" is strong, and both "Theodicy On Trial" and the title track have their moments.
