The Tomb of Gilgamesh--RealAudio
Only one original member (the drummer) remains for this sometimes-thrashy group. Occasional COC-like distortion can be heard, and there
are a number of long tracks with in-song tempo shifts. Not entirely a good thing, as the breaks tend to detract from the disc's fluidity. Shouty vocals for the most part,
though the few clear-sung sections are excellent. Why not more??
Decent moments within "The Tomb of Gilgamesh," "The Skeezik Dilemma," and the title track
set them apart, and "Erratic Palpitations" has some excellent clear vocals. A slower pace and darker feel marks "Drinking From the Poisoned Well".
