10,000 Lovers (In One)--RealAudio

The first mainstream release from these Norwegian melodic rockers, this album reminds of a slightly heavier (same era) Europe, and at times a bit like Dokken (though nowhere near as thick or aggressive, musically). Vocalist Tony Harnell displays a decent vocal range, though he may be a bit too high-pitched and stretched at times. The band's lack of consistent songwriting kept them from ever really making it big.
The smooth-yet-edged "10,000 Lovers (In One)" is a good track that garnered some MTV play back in '87, and other decent showings include "As Far As the Eye Can See," "Listen to Your Heart," and the disc-closing title track.
