Red, White and Bullet Blues - mp3

This superstar group is headed up by Tak Matsumoto, guitarist for the best-selling Japanese rock band B’Z. Some of the big names that join in are Eric Martin on vocals (Mr. Big) and both Jack Blades (Damn Yankees) and Brian Tichy (Pride & Glory). This is very similar to early, heavier Mr. Big, as there is a good guitar sound present, and plenty of upbeat and flowing tracks. A surprisingly solid release from start to finish.
Some thick guitar grinding moves through "Red, White and Bullet Blues," while "Trapped" is another strong cut. "My Alibi" is good and melodic, "Never Goodbye" has ballad lyrics but a heavy base, and all of "Everything Passes Away," "Kings For a Day," "The Greatest Show on Earth," and "Wonderland" make the grade. Showing their versatility, the band even injects a carefree Cali feel into "I Wish You Were Here."
A great buy for fans of melodic metal and dedicated guitar.
