The band switches vocalists on this second release, and the music loses a bit of the "aura" as well, as the distortion is somewhat more straight-forward and "chunky". Still power/prog, though. Comparisons would be a less experimental Dream Theater, and a more consistent and flowing Superior. The band will take a huge step forward with its next release.
Disc opener "Sunseeker" has a good, steady drive, and "A Tension of Souls" is multi-faceted and heavy. The churning "Devoted" is a top spot, and both "Will to Give" and the driving "He Is I Am" are strong.
