Tesla--Times Makin' Changes: The Best Of Tesla (1995)
Rating--8.0

A decent "best of" package, representing most of the singles from Tesla's five albums. One excellent new track, "Steppin' Over," is included here, but Tesla's best efforts are still left out--as is usually the case when you compare a band's more "commercial" tunes with their straight-out rockers. Still, Tesla's singles rock anyway--they never once "sold out" in their career. I'd have to say they don't have more than a handful of radio-friendly songs that were ever released--which is usually a good thing, in the eyes of most frugal metal fans.
A good album, if only to introduce new fans (where have you been hiding?) to classics such as "Modern Day Cowboy," "Song & Emotion," "Heaven's Trail," and so much more. If you think this is good, how do you think the rest of their material sounds??
