Symphorce - Twice Second (2004/Metal Blade)
Rating - 8.4

Andy Franck's "other" band isn't quite as ultra-heavy as Brainstorm, but it's still safely within the realm of Power Metal. There are lots of good, rolling chops to be found, and while Brainstorm is a bit more straight-forward and aggressive, Symphorce isn't far behind. This is a good offering, in any case.
Pretty much all of the tracks are of high quality. The heaviest cuts to be found include "Whatever Hate Provides," "Cause of Laughter," "Two Seconds to Live," and the nasty and chugging "Searching."
The chorus of "Fallen" leaves its mark, with other tunes falling in line as well.
