Can't Keep From Falling--RealAudio
Good hard rock/light metal, with the vocals of former Lynch Mob singer Robert Mason being featured. He has a great, yearning voice,
and its good to have him back in the metal community (he had a brief tour of duty with Cry of Love).
The heavier moments of this offering actually remind quite a bit of
the second Lynch Mob disc. This is probably due a good deal to Mason, and of course the chops aren't as caustic as Mr. Lynch's-- but still decent hard rock, all the
same.
The smooth-to-heavy format of opener "Can't Keep From Falling" is pleasing to the ear, and other strong tracks include "Living in a Lie," "I'll Wait," and "Get Right
Back Up".
A big, rolling chorus moves "Pouring Rain," while "Tell Me" is a ballad-type track featuring a thick choral base. A couple of hard rock-flow songs show up
in "Take Me Back" and "Don't Let a Good Thing Slip Away".
The band's second album was released in 1998--without Mason. He has reportedly
rejoined the group, with an album due sometime in early 2001.
