We Hold the Key--RealAudio
Timo Kotipelto makes his debut for the band on vocals, and his is a crystalline, soaring, and enchanting voice. The material remains solid, though the huge breakthrough is still a bit down the line...
Swift tracks open the disc with "Against the Wind" and "Distant Skies," and "Lord of the Wasteland" is similar in nature. The paced "Galaxies" has a good vocal chorus, and "030366" sounds like it's straight off of Queensryche's 'Rage for Order'.
The stalking "We Hold the Key" is a top track, as is the thick and key-rolling "Twilight Symphony".
