Stigmata IV--The Court of Eternity (1998/Noise)
Rating--8.4

Dark Desire--RealAudio
Power metal with hints of prog, as there are keyboards intermixed at times. The vocals remind a lot of early Jon Oliva, and the music a bit of Savatage as well. More advanced and "updated," though, as there are current Euro power strains of Iron Savior, Grave Digger, and a little Maiden. Good stuff, overall.
"Nature's Revenge" is a heavy track with a strong chord-driven pace, and the nasty rolling notes of "Fever Dream" mixes perfectly with the placed harmonics.
The title track is churning and multi-dimensional, while "Dark Desire" is simple rip and gallop, thumping along all the while. "The Crusade of Lies" is a solid opener, and "Room Eleven" is one of the faster cuts featured.
TRACK LIST: The Crusade of Lies/Nature's Revenge/Fever Dream/Room Eleven/Don't Close Your Eyes/The Court of Eternity/Mirror Man/Dark Desire/The Final Hour/Fool III (only blood makes me sane)
