Shadowkeep--Corruption Within (2000/Limb)
Rating--8.1

Alter of Madness--RealAudio
A power metal band with progressive strains, and the closest comparison is probably classic Crimson Glory. There are bits of early Kamelot and E.P.-era Queensryche, and even a hidden track cover of "Queen of the Reich"! Tight riffing, high end vocals, and a double-bass pace keep things moving, and just about every track is above-par.
A steady and thick drive grooves through "Altar of Madness," and a sliding, head-moving rhythm paces "The Silver Sword". The aforementioned, hidden "Queen of the Reich" is solid, and other good tracks include "Dark Tower," "Corruption Within," "Cast Out," and "Death: A New Horizon".
