Sinner--Bottom Line (1995/No Bull)

Rage of a Hurricane--RealAudio
Many people point to the band's following 'Judgement Day' release as when its sound became truly powerful, crunchy, and intimidating. 'Bottom Line' is rarely given much press or credit--though I don't know why. This album is every bit as nasty and devilish as either of the two which follow. Full of caustic riffing and solid chords that remind of Priest, Accept, and the like, this is tasty power metal, and a disc to be reckoned with.
"The Biggest Lie" opens in piledriving fashion, and Sinner's classic neck-bending style is focused upon in "Roses of Yesterday".
"Rage of a Hurricane" is nasty and flowing, and numerous other tracks stand out: "When Silence Falls," "All Men Are Heroes," "I Can't Stop the Fire," "Hearts of Steel," and the slower shadow-lurker "Mercy Killer".
