The Fall--RealAudio

Siam is led by vocalist Tony Mills, formerly of the semi-glam band Shy England. The musical style here, however, can pretty much be summed up with one word: Queensryche. With this release the band dabbles with 'Empire'-like sounds, though they still appear to be feeling their way around a bit, in terms of songwriting. The next release will find comparisons to the Seattle prog-masters that are uncanny.
Numerous tracks stand out as being good, including "The Search," "The Fall," "Nightflight to Heaven," "Signals of Intuition," and "Midnight Connection". "It Ain't Easy" offers a slight change of pace with its bluesy feel.
By the next album, many of the "decent" songs will make the transition to "damn strong"!
