Sure, there are some sappy cliches and yelps, but in all this is a poor man's 'Dr. Feelgood,' with plenty of romping party cuts.
Attitude and sharp notes jut through "Loaded Mutha," while the party sleeze oozes with "Sticky Side Up".
"Steelheart" is a fast track, and "Dancin' in the Fire" is one of the band's heavier and more energetic offerings. "Electric Love Child," while a bit slower and more methodical, still has a smooth and mesmerizing chorus. Don't forget--vocalist Mike Matijevic has some great high-end range...
