No One Lives Forever-mp3

The third release from this D.C. Cooper and Alex Beyrodt-led power unit is a moderate return to their first-album style, and the tunes are a bit catchier and not as all-out speed-induced as on ‘Infatuator.’ Whereas ‘Empire of the Future’ had a number of tracks that immediately caught your ear, ‘Worlds Apart’ is full of consistent tunes that really grow on you over time, and begin to stand out after awhile -- which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Cooper is yet again one of the main highlights, as his soaring vocals put a well-polished finish on every effort.
"No One Lives Forever" has some excellent and sharp verses, and "Hold On" is detailed with a keyboard stalk. "Heart Attack" is strong and "Master of My Destiny" is a stalking delight; as stated before, all of the tracks are good listens, so each could be highlighted here. A fine offering by an underrated band.
