Scorpions--World Wide Live (1985)
Rating--8.0

What do you do when you're at the top of the game, and people will gobble up anything you release? Put out a live album! Seriously, though, it was high time for a live Scorpions disc, as the band is a very energetic on-stage presence. Many strong cuts from the more recent releases; wish there had been even more from 'Magnetism' and 'Blackout'.
All of the big-riff numbers stand out, as the live distortion keeps all of the vitality intact. Among the possible "unexpected" high moments would be "Holiday," with a simply superb sing-along crowd. A moving, strong episode.
