Scorpions--Best of Rockers 'n' Ballads (1989) Rating--8.2

A nice little collection of songs, but I can't figure out why it was released (well, other than to make some money). The band just released a live album not too long ago, and there are far too few songs on this disc to call it a greatest hits package. Anyway, it's nice to throw on at parties.
The one new song is the Who cover "I Can't Explain," and it comes across pretty good. Also included is oldie-but-greatie "Hey You"---a Scorpions classic from the vaults.
A good primer for the group, if you don't have any material at all from the boys.
