Stompbox--Stress (1994)
Rating--6.1

No Woods--RealAudio
Bar chords, chunky riffs, slides, and pull-offs, all in a grinding sense. The singer sounds a lot like STP's Scott Weiland--at least how he did on 'Core.' That is, a gruff, almost shouting type of vocal. A good, pounding set, but becomes monotonous after awhile, as there's little variety or depth past the surface stomping fare.
Standouts include "No Woods," "Chevy S-10," "Screwing in America," and the ultimate chunk of "The Making of Pump."
