House is on Fire--RealAudio
"Tough" L.A. party glam (though the band is actually European), with bits and pieces of numerous bands' sounds: Faster Pussycat, Poison, Kix, and even some 'Adrenalize'-era Def Leppard. Alas, but it was too late for these guys, as the sound was fizzling out by the time the release date rolled around.
The strutting "House is on Fire" has good notes, and is a top highlight. The upbeat title track is franticly paced, and "Girls Girls, Nasty Nasty" is party-hearty.
Another carefree-type flow shows up on "Damned if We Do, Damned If We Don't," and "Stranger Than Paradise" has some tough verses.
All of "Heroes Die Young," When the Brains Go to the Balls," and "Don't Talk About Roses" are heavier, and above-average cuts.
