Are We Travellers in Time--RealAudio
These NWOBHM stalwarts keep getting better and better with age. Vocalist Biff Byford still sounds strong, the distortion remains etched, and there are good riffs and chords throughout. This is just as good as the previous 'Unleash the Beast,' and even a bit more wide-open. Good stuff.
The chunky and cranky title song descends first, and is followed by the paced and head-moving rhythm groove of "Are We Travellers in Time". Cutting verse work shows up in "Watching You," while "Song of Evil" has another good rhythm.
"What Goes Around" is solid, and both "Conquistador" and "All Guns Blazing" are faster tracks. One of the band's best overall songwriting moments comes with disc closer "Sea of Life". Featuring a slower tempo, it is a good, even-keeled number from start to finish.
