This is not quite as tough (song-wise) as its predecessors, and also a step backwards when it comes to the heaviness that 'Strong Arm of the Law' had established. There is a "tinny" feel to a lot of the distortion, which is unfortunate.
The anthemic title track is a bright spot, and other good songs include "Fire in the Sky," "Never Surrender," "Play it Loud," and "Midnight Rider". Again, however, most of these tracks would fall behind those of the previous release.
