Sharp music, and chiefly Black Metal vocals, though there's some lower, DM vox as well. Some underlying key work in places adds atmosphere, and the band does a real good job of changing pace and tempos to add flavor.
"If We Fall..." is sharp and caustic, and the three-pronged "Odyssey" is an evil prance throughout.
"November" features a nice slow-down mid-section chug, while "Tired of the Pain" has yet another. The end of "Thy Desolation" gives a glimpse of the band with clean vocals, as the closing sections glide along smoothly.
