The Creation of Be-Lou--RealAudio
Where Mankind Fails--RealAudio
Top-shelf European power speed in the musical vein of Hammerfall, and occasionally the classic, bass-thumping ways of Maiden.
Fast, intricate, and gallopy, this is a band that plays tight and energy-packed music. There are plenty of Hammerfall and Manowar-like themes,
and the vocalist is actually a bit of a mix between Eric Adams and the standard high-end Euro vox. Chock full of great tracks, this is a must for fans of the Western power
scene.
Virtually every song stands up to be counted. The sharp, paced note riffs of "Island of Gods" compliments the excellent vocal work, and the chugging backbone
of "Village of Agabha" is a solid highlight. "The Creation of Be-Lou" romps in the pure, classic-Maiden gallop, and has plenty of accompanying fretwork. Fast and swift
tracks surface in the forms of "Dragon's Skull," "The Awakening," "Forgotten Land," "Holy Sea of Gold," and the instrumental "The Furious Spirit of Death".
A layered-vocal chorus stands out in the title track, and another strong, melodic chorus blends well with the inner verse-chugging of "Heading For the Lair". "Thunder Knight"
is a solid cut with a slower and more deliberate pace, and yet another gem from this splendid true-metal offering.
