Wolf and Raven--RealAudio

Improvement and growth is shown, though the band still doesn't seem to be filling the big shoes its talent has afforded them. Some tremendous showings on tribute albums hammer home the fact that the band is musically adept; they just need to find a solid songwriting niche. The best moments are actually when their fast and somewhat slower styles are intermixed within a track, and in those cases the results are some refreshing, original compositions. In time, hopefully their natural progression will lead to more of that.
The energized adrenaline of "Wolf and Raven" shows that in-track "mix", and is a top spot because of it. "The Power of One" is strong, as is the more contained "The End of This Chapter".
Numerous other good tracks are sprinkled throughout, including "Black Sheep," "Last Drop Falls," "Sing in Silence," and the fast "San Sebastian".
