Remastered selections from 1983-85. Steel Assassin, along with Madd Hunter, is a project by bassist/songwriter Phil Grasso.
A mix between NWOBHM-style music and standard Euro-power. The groups' sounds that are most evoked are Maiden, Armored Saint, and a little Manowar.
The top tracks here include the drive of "Crusader" and the slower groove of "Falling Steel." Others include "Spartacus," "Phaeton," "Retaliation," and "Heavy Metal Soldiers".
A nice pickup for strict fans of the above genres; a very early-80s feel.
