Lament--RealAudio

The word adagio means "a slow movement or part in music," and that's a somewhat good definition for doom metal in general. This album is more consistently heavy than the last, and the highlights are more often and able.
A Dracula-themed quote opens the grueling "Days of Prayer", while some nasty slow-chug cooking is featured in "Idis". "Spiral Descent" has a strong rhythm flow, "The Fall" is a nice acoustic track, and "Lament" does an excellent job of highlighting John Perez's haunting, aggressive vocals.
Other good cuts include "Believe," "Personal God," "Insanity's Circles," "Empty Faith," and a very commendable cover of Sabbath's "Heaven and Hell".
