Rebel's Mother--Sanctify (2000/Rebel's Mother) Rating--7.2

This marks the second CD to touch upon themes dealing with the comic book 'Spawn' (following Iced Earth's 'The Dark Saga'). There's some crunchy Jag Panzer sounds present, and overall you have pretty good songwriting. The production is still a bit lacking, however, which continues to keep the band from reaching its full potential.
A good rhythm pace moves the opener "Dance of the Dead," and a number of tracks are solid fare: "Walk Away," "Sanctify," "Touch," and "You Can't Bring Me Down".
"Night" is a long track with some heavy, driving moments, and "Fatherless" features a surprising little Maiden gallop.
