A small step backwards for the band--though still a good offering. Lots of solidity, but no real standouts. There are more Stratovarius-like sounds, as well as a little light Helloween.
"Legion of the Damned" is a slower and weighty track, and "Third Stage" is an intricate instrumental.
All of "Wasted Time," "Here Today, Gone Tomorrow," and "Epilogue" are good cuts.
