The songs on this release aren't quite as fast as on the previous, but they are still every bit as heavy. Another thing about Rage--they always give you your money's worth: 12 songs on this one, which is usually about the least you'll find on one of their discs. Tunes here are along the lines of the heaviest '80s Priest, as well as faster Accept and Flotsam and Jetsam. Truly a listening pleasure.
Several true standouts, including "Nevermore", "The Pit and the Pendulum", "Certain Days", and "Her Diary's Black Pages". Other highlights include "Refuge" and "Who Dares".
