I Want a Woman--RealAudio
Ratt continues to bump along with the same general sass as before, but this release is not quite as biting for the duration. The first half cruises nicely, but the songs begin to thin as the disc winds down.
"City to City" features some excellent DeMartini razor work and riffage, and "Don't Bite the Hand That Feeds You" shows just how underrated he is on the axe, as well as Robin Crosby at the songwriting helm.
"I Want a Woman" is a rolling, upbeat party cut, and "Bottom Line", though a little slower paced, features a nice rhythm. The group's sleeze-factor continues to be alive and well on "Way Cool Jr.", with slow, pulsing blues notes intertwined with raspy Pearcy vocals.
